Survivors include a step-son, Elvin Riggs, Berthoud, Colo.; three step-daughters, Joyce Nedbalek, Minnetonka, Minn.; Sharon Boone, Quinter, and Sandra Fielder, Maple Grove, Minn.; two sisters, Frances Kahler, Quinter, and Nellie Goetz, Salina; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Collyer; burial in Baker Township Cemetery, Quinter. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Gove County ambulance service in care of the funeral home.

Quinter - Wilfred J. Lang, 84, died Sunday, April 26, 2009. He was born Feb. 18, 1925, in rural Gove County to William and Anna (Bittel) Lang.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Mae, in 2006; parents; four brothers and a sister.
Survivors include a stepson, Elvin Riggs, of Berthoud, Colo.; stepdaughters, Joyce Nedbalek, of Minnetonka, Minn., Sharon Boone, of Quinter, and Sandra Fielder, of Maple Grove, Minn.; sisters, Frances Kahler, of Quinter, and Nellie Goetz, of Salina; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
