Funeral services will be Thursday at the United Presbyterian Church in State Center for David West, 40, Roscoe, Illinois, who died Saturday in Madison, Wisconsin. The Rev Mary Hendrickson will be in charge and burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery. A previous service was conducted in Beloit on Tuesday.
Mr West was born May 26, 1941 at State Center, the son of Clifford and Marion Brimhall West. He spent his early life at State Center and was graduated from State Center High School in 1959. He was graduated from University of Iowa in 1963 and received his CPA rating in 1965.
He lived in Des Moines before moving to Galesburg, Illinois in 1967, then to Roscoe in 1977. He was employed by Outboard Marine Corp.
He was married to Connie Pohren November 20, 1965 in Des Moines. She survives, also three children, Christina, Brian and Rustin, all at home; two brothers, James C West of State Center and Richard West of Lincoln, Nebraska; a sister Margaret Johnson of Crystal Lake, Illinois and his father, Clifford West of State Center. His mother preceded him in death.
Mr West was a member of the State Center First United Presbyterian Church, and the Iowa Board of Accountants. He was a treasurer of the Beloit Hockey Association and a trustee of Roscoe Township.
