Union, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 5, 2000, at the Holy Spirit Hospital,
Camp Hill. Born July 2, 1910, in Mount Union, she was the daughter of
the late Vasili and Elena (Berley) Cucu. She was united in marriage to
Sosti Miduri in July 1929. He preceded her in death May 18, 1968. Mrs.
Miduri is survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, a
number of nieces and nephews, and the following two sisters: Anna Larney
of Camp Hill and Betty Czekalski of Natrona Heights. Her daughter, Pat
Waffen, who had resided in Ohio, and her son, Patrick Miduri, who was
from Mechanicsburg, preceded Mrs. Miduri in death. Mrs. Miduri attended
the Mount Union schools and was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic
faith. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, Dec. 8, at 10:30
a.m., at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount
Union, with the Rev. Elwood Figurelle officiating. Interment will be
made in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery, Shirleysburg
