FARMINGTON -- Kathleen D. Downard, 83, of 141 S. Mill St. died at 9:33 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 1996, at Farmington Country Manor.
Born July 18, 1913, in Farmington to James and Emma Mae Hanley Bollinger, she married Warren E. Downard Sr. on April 8, 1935, in Lewistown. He died June 30, 1988. One son, Jack, one grandson, four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Warren Jr. and Richard L., both of Elmwood; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Patricia) Walsh and Mrs.
Robert (Loretta) Timm, both of Farmington, and Mrs. Gary (Judy) Dieckow of Cuba; four brothers, Lloyd Bollinger of Monticello, Ky., James Bollinger and Robert Bollinger, both of Farmington, and Eugene Bollinger of El Cajon, Calif.; four sisters, Bernice Williamson of Ipava, and Edna Colvin, Eileen Wilcoxen and Juanita Hartzog, all of Farmington; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was a Gold Star Mother. She was a member of American Legion Post 140 Ladies Auxiliary and Women of the Moose Chapter 470, both in Farmington.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Anderson Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Reiner will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
