(November 16, 1917 - March 10, 2012)

Duane Aul, age 94, of Taylor, AZ passed away, Mar. 10, 2012 with his family by his side. Duane was born Nov. 16, 1917 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the family's (Gun Club), to parents Frank Willard and Harriett Bird Aul. Duane honorably served our country in the US Army in WWII and Korea.

He worked off and on as a baker since the age of 11. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. He enjoyed gardening and has always told his stories. He has strived to record and write his complete family history for his family to enjoy. Duane was the last living of 9 siblings belonging to the Harriet Bird Todd and Frank Willard Aul family.

He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 4 sisters and his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 58 ½ years, Clarcia Ione Gillespie Aul. He is the father of 9 children, Gloria Hatch, Debbie Pearce (deceased), Milton Todd Aul, Lincoln Duane Aul, Marilyn Willis, LaRee Godfrey, Tami Slade, Beth Holden and Linda Peterman; he is also survived by 43 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Mar. 16, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lovelake Chapel at 11:00 AM with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 AM that morning.

Interment will follow at the Snowflake Mike Ramsey Memorial Cemetery.
