Mrs. Gt. Kuiken
Mrs. Gt. Kuiken, nee Agnes Mulder, passed away at the municipal hospital in Orange City, at 8:15 Friday morning.
Mrs. Kuiken, who was in failing health, had been taken to the hospital Thursday morning.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Reformed church with the Rev. Raymond Van Heukelom officiating. Interment was made at the local West Lawn cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kuiken was born Aug. 30, 1890, to Mr. and Mrs. Gt. Mulder of Maurice and spent her entire life in this area.
Surviving are her husband, one stepdaughter, Vada (Mrs. Bernard Vander Zwaag) of Newkirk, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mrs. Rena Maassen, Mrs. Gertrude Douma and Mrs. John Ver Meer of Boyden; 3 brothers: William and John Mulder of Orange City and Ed Mulder of Ireton.
