Ed Mulder, 93, of Ireton, died May 26 in a hospital at Orange City.

Services were May 29 in the First Reformed Church at Ireton. The Rev. Robert G. Schwander officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mr. Mulder was born March 17, 1888, at rural Orange City. He married Ida Borgman Feb. 10, 1910, at Orange City. She died Dec. 21, 1976.

He farmed in the Sioux Center, Hawarden and Ireton areas, and retired to Ireton in 1955. He became a resident of the Heritage House in Orange City in August of 1977.

Mr. Mulder was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include four sons, Alvin of Orange City, Ben of Pella, Irwin of Ireton and Curtis of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Jake (Geneva) Kramer of Sioux Center, Mis Edna of Ireton, and Mrs. Chris (lla) Schiebout of Orange City; 50 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gertrude Douma of Sioux Center and Martha Ver Meer of Boyden.
