Mildred Jean Linger, 43, passed away in Chicago Tuesday April 9th. She was the daughter of Mrs. Bessie Adkins of Winfield and the late Francis Adkins. Other survivors are her husband, Richard Linger of Chicago Heights, Illinois; son, Douglas Linger of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Jeann Thompson of Oneida and Mrs. Shirley Meadors of Mount Healthy, Ohio; two brothers, Robert Adkins of Winfield and Philips Adkins of Dayton, Ohio and grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Lawson of Parkers Lake, Ky. Funeral services were held Saturday April 13th at 1 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. J. W. Blevins and Rev. Howard Walker officiating. Interment was in Perkins Cemetery.
