Funeral Services For Kewanee Man Held Saturday

Funeral services for Ralph Beamer of Kewanee were held Saturday in the Siefert & Smith funeral home in Kewanee. Burial was in the West Jersey cemetery.

Mr. Beamer was born December 1, 1886 in Stark county and died suddenly last Thursday while at work in the Flemish club rooms in Kewanee where he was a custodian.

He was united in marriage to Gladys Newman January 12, 1913 in West Jersey and they resided on farms in Stark county until 1936. The family moved to Kewanee, Mr. Beamer taking a position with the Kewanee Machine & Conveyor Co. He retired in 1954 to become custodian of the club.

Surviving are his wife; a son James of Astoria, Ore.; four daughters, (Louise) Mrs. Everett Dutton of Toulon, (Hazel) Mrs. Edwin Massingale of Riverside, Ill., Mrs. Sarah Dell Trinoline of Galva, (Velma) Mrs. Everett Johnson of Kewanee; eight grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Beamer of Elmwood; and one sister Mrs. Stanley Newman of Galva.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers, and five sisters.
