Funeral services were held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon, April 11, 1936, for Mrs. Alexander T. Reed, 59, at the Elmwood Presbyterian church. Death occurred Wednesday, Apr. 8, 1936, at her home in Elmwood. Interment was in Elmwood cemetery.

Rosa Dell Beamer, daughter of Philip and Sarah Gurney Beamer, was born Sep. 7, 1876, near West Jersey, in Stark county. She passed away at her home in Elmwood Apr. 8, 1936, being 59 years and seven months of age at the time of her death. She grew to womanhood where she was born and Jan. 31, 1906, she was married to Alexander T. Reed, of the French Grove community. They went to live on what is known as the Robert Carter farm near Laura where they remained nine years. After leaving there they resided in Williamsfield one year. The next four years they spent in Galesburg and moved to Elmwood in 1918 where she spent the remainder of her life. One son was born to this union, Philip Alexander Reed, who died in infancy.

Her parents, two brothers and one sister, Sidney Beamer, James Beamer and Alice Beamer, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, four sisters and four brothers, Mrs. L. A. Biederbeck, Jeffrey H. Beamer, Mrs. R. O. Alldredge, Ralph R. Beamer, Mrs. Stanley Newman, of Toulon, Mrs. James A. Barrett and Glen Beamer, of Elmwood, and Dale Beamer, of Laura.
