Toulon – Margaret Louise Dutton, 96, of Toulon, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Toulon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

Margaret was born August 5, 1919, in West Jersey, the daughter of Ralph R. and Gladys Newman Beamer. She married Everett W. Dutton on January 4, 1942, in Toulon. He died August 13, 1977, in Rome, Italy.

Surviving are two sons, Bruce H. (Jan) Dutton of Wyoming, and Kenneth E. (Barbara) Dutton of Ruskin, FL; one daughter, Karen E. (Craig) Paul of Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Beamer; and three sisters, Velna Johnson, Hazel Massingill and Saradelle Nelson.

Margaret was a LaFayette High School graduate. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Kewanee and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Toulon.

Cremation has been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at a later date in Toulon Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
