At the age of 79 years Mrs. Victoria H. Purvis, formerly of Rosenhayn, died in Philadelphia Tuesday. The deceased was the wife of the late Wilson J. Purvis, and together with her husband during his lifetime, had considerable to do with building up the village and in addition to raising their own children had adopted what most folk would regard as a full-sized family. Both were active members of one of the old-time farm organizations. The funeral is set for next Friday afternoon with services at the parlors of W. F. Garrison, North Laurel street, and burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rosenhayn.
