Dorothy Roberson was a student of Mrs. Crealous Cosson from 1947 to 1950. Dorothy remembers that there were two classrooms in their school bldng. Mrs. Cosson had grades 1-3, and Mrs. Agnes McDonald had grades 4-6.

In Mrs. Cosson's room were three rows of desks. To the teacher's right was the first grade row, down the middle was the second grade row, and to the teacher's left was the third grade row.

Mrs. McDonald's room was organized the same N e way, with grade 4 going down one side, grade 5 in the middle row, and grade 6 on the other side.

The blackboard of each classroom was on the wall behind the teacher's desk.

Dorothy says Mrs. Cosson was a strict teacher. No student was allowed to touch her blackboard and mess it up with their fingerprints. Once in a while when the teacher was out for a minute one of the kids might scrape their nails on the chalkboard to pester the other kids, but by and large Mrs. Cosson ran a no-nonsense classroom.
