The Cosson family Bible gives his name as "Reason Richard Henderson". However, on the headstone of his infant son, who died on the day of his birth, it reads "R. K. & ALMA HENDERSON SEPT 23, 1943". So the two headstones agree, even if the family Bible says something different.

Mr. Reason K. Henderson, age 75, a former resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, died Thursday in a Menlo Park, California hospital.

Mr. Henderson was a native of Walton County, Florida, a game warden with the Game and Fish Commission, a World War I Veteran, and a member of Merritt Island Baptist Church.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Lenevieve Crenshaw of Palo Alto, California, Mrs. Marjorie Cosson of the U. S. Navy of North Africa, Mrs. Vivian Zehr of Greenville, S. C., Mrs. Joanne McConnell of Alexandria, Virginia, Mrs. Irene Snare of Titusville, Florida, and Mrs. Jeanne Sunderlin of Vandenberg AFB, California; two sons, Mr. J. S. Henderson and Mr. Jerome Henderson of Palo Alto; four brothers, Mr. Conrad Henderson, Mr. Ira Henderson, and Mr. Mack D. Henderson of DeFuniak Springs, and Mr. J. R. Henderson of Panama City; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wooten and Mrs. Crealus Cosson of DeFuniak Springs, and Mrs. Melissa Slaughter of Pensacola; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday morning in Comander Chapel, with the Reverend Charles Hinson officiating.

Burial was in Alaqua Methodist Church Cemetery.
