She was born November 23, 1943 in Detroit, the daughter of Ernest and Ida M. (Belville) Nixon. She married Charles J. "Red" Williams on May 22, 1971 at Canton. He died January 17, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and three sisters.
Surviving are six children, Barbara Breese, David "Larry" (Christine) Graham, Ellen (Kerry) Brown, Darlene (Larry E.) Williams-Gruber, Cheryl (Chris Clark) Conklin and Doreen (William) Fawcett; four sisters, Patricia (William) Robinson, Helen Roberts, Deborah Roberts and Elaine Hardin; and five brothers, Ronald Roberts, Gary Roberts, Edward Roberts, Richard Roberts, and Tracy Roberts.
Leona worked as a CNA for over 30 years at Sunset Health Care Center in Canton.
Cremation will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Apple Cemetery.
