He married Sarah "Sallie" R. Carroll Sorrells Dunlap on 09 Dec 1886 in Little River Co., AR. She was the mother of John Andrew Sorrells, who married W. H. Posey's daughter, Susan Rebecca Posey. The couples married on the same day.
The last time I was able to locate W. H. Posey was in 1917. "Harrison Posey" filed for a Civil War pension in Texas on 15 Feb 1917 (served in Co. K of the 161st Ohio Infantry). His daughter, Susie, was in Burleson Co., TX in 1900, Titus Co., TX in 1910, and Lamar Co., TX in 1920. But I haven't been able to locate W.H. in the 1900-1920 census records. I also haven't been able to locate a death record or grave for him. He is NOT the William Harrison Posey from Pike Co., IN.
