Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Victory Baptist Church in Park Springs with the Reverend Mark Autry and Willie Haak officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Bowie.
Genelle was born in Wise County, Texas to Charles Walter and Gertie Lee Stockard Griffis. She married R.V. Hopkins on May 8, 1938 in Montague County, Texas.She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth Merrell Hopkins of Azle,Jimmy Ray Hopkins of Park Springs, Milton Leon Hopkins of Sunset; 11 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous adopted and foster grandchildren.
