She was born February 22, 1919 in Upshur County, Texas to Lonnie and Cora Dee Keeling. She married Quanah Ezra McKnight.
Vivian was an accomplished seamstress and known for her Sunday rolls. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was the perfect mother and grandmother, raising eight children and very nurturing to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Thomas (Betty), Larry (Debbie), Martha (Curtis) Dowdle, June Peay, Bill (Lynne), Donna (Ron) Gedge, and David (Marianne); twenty-seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Carolyn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). A viewing will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
