June Francis Peay, our beloved Mom, Grandma June, great grandma, sister and friend, returned peacefully to her heavenly home on August 28, 2022, surrounded by those she loved. Her laughs, loves, and playful personality will forever be loved and missed.
June is survived by her children; Greg (Brandie) Peay, Michele (Carl) James, Kathy (Matt) Avery, Jesse (Laura) Peay; three grandsons, five granddaughters, two great granddaughters and one great grandson; siblings Thomas (Betty) McKnight, Martha (Curtis) Dowdle, William (Lynne) McKnight, and David (Marianne) McKnight. June was preceded in death by her husband Terry, parents Quanah and Vivian McKnight, two sisters Donna (Ron) McKnight Gedge and Carolyn McKnight, and brother Larry (Debbie) McKnight.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 11:00-11:45 AM at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT. Immediately following the viewing, graveside services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Legacy House of Taylorsville, as well as Inspiration Hospice Care for all their care and friendship they offered to June during her time with them.
