LOCAL MEN'S BROTHER DIES
Frank J. Roell, age 82, brother of Carl and Adam Roell of this city, died at his home 357 E. Minnesota St., in Indianapolis, yesterday. He had been in failing health for some time, but death was unexpected.
Besides the two brothers who reside in Shelbyville, Mr. Roell is survived by another brother and twelve children. Several nieces and nephews in Shelby county also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Indianapolis, with burial at St. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call at the G. H. A plumbing contractor, Frank J. Roell, 82 years old, 357 East Minnesota Street, died yesterday in St. Francis Hospital after a six-month illness.
A resident of Indianapolis 37 years, Mr. Roell retired five years ago. He was born at Oldenburg and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Ghurch.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Louis Christopher, Flint, Mich., Mrs. John Moriarty, Indianapolis, Mrs. John Stumph, Greenwood, and Mrs. Stanley McIntire, North Vernon; eight sons, Balthasar Roell, Detroit, Robert Roell, Beech Grove, Bruno, Phillip, Lewis, Leonard, Martin and Albert Roell, Indianapolis; four brothers, Gregory Roell, Newport, Ky., Adam and Carl Roell, Shelbyville, Henry Roell, Oldenburg, 42 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
