James Nelson Eveland, named after his grandfather and went by Nelson for as long as I knew him. Such a gentle soul, never a bad word against anyone. A hard worker and also a farmer till almost to the time of his death. Met and married Vivian Irene Mabry, his complete opposite! They have five children, 4 sons and one daughter; James Richard , Roger Alan, Robin Dale, Robert Daniel and Laura Marie Eveland. Nelson was born in Silex Missouri, the son of James Lewis Eveland and Viola Brinegar Eveland. Lived in the Silex and PeaRidge area until 1962, when they purchased the Zalabak Farm in the HawkPoint area and was in this area until the time of his death. He is GREATLY missed by family and friends alike...
