Estelle (Alexander) McCoy, 98, widow of Fred James McCoy, of Greer, SC, died January 28, 2012.
A native of Greenville County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Frank Alexander and Rosa Belle (Griffith) Alexander, and a charter member of Taylors First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Jim McCoy (Karen) of Honea Path; a daughter, Marilyn McCoy Woods (Jimmy) of Townville; five grandchildren and their spouses, Bobby and Deana McCoy, Bill and Janet McCoy, Rob and Sandie Thomas, John and Dawn Thomas, Elliot and Dr. Keith Bridgers; eleven great-grandchildren, Heather, Brandon, Caleb, Joshua, Jered, Candace, Alex, Lelia, Rachel, Andrew, and Seth; and her loving dog of eighteen years, Huey.
She was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery, conducted by Dr. Stephen Clyborne.
Visitation was held at the graveside following the service.
