Alton Earl was the first son of Alton & Verona Lawson Beheler. He was born at home, premature. Mom said you could hold him in the palm of your hand, he was so small. He's buried at Rosemont Cemetery, with our other brother,Ralph. He's gone but he lives in our hearts, forever.

Obituary: Alton Earl Beheler, the 2-day old son of Mr. & Mrs. Alton Beheler, passed away at an early hour this morning at the home of his parents, 43 Lybrand Street, The funeral services were held this afternoon at the home at 4:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. R. G. Lonney, the interment following in Rosemont Cemetery. Besides parents he is survived by one sister Sarah Beheler of the home. The Edgar Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Thank you Angelica for sponsoring my brother's memorial.
May God bless you and your family.

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, We mortal sometimes question the wisdom of his love.

For no heartache compares with the death of one small child who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling the old to his fold, so He picks a rosebud, before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them, and so he takes a few, to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try. The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."

So when a little child departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.
