Emigrated to the United States with his wife (Sarah Chambers Storey) and four children about 1851. Settled in Illinois and had six more children. Retired to Byron, Oklahoma. After his death, he was first buried in Byron, but in 1920 was re-interred to Forest Park Cemetery in Anthony, Kansas. Photo at right shows his five sons behind him in 1899.
