Mrs. Mary Katherine Brooks, 88, died at her home in Poolesville Friday afternoon. Wife of the late Dr. L.F. Brooks and daughter of the late John and Margaret Litton, she was the oldest living member of the Poolesville Methodist Church.

Surviving are these children; Minnie Shepherd, James Brooks, Leo Brooks, Mrs. Beulah Brubaker, Boyd Brooks.

The body is at the late home in Poolesville where friends may call. Funeral services Monday at 2 pm from the Poolesville Methodist Church. Interment will be in Monocacy, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
