Esta Robb Succumbs
Mrs. Esta I. Robb, 88 formerly of Kinmundy, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1983 in the United Methodist Village at Lawrenceville, Ill.
She was born Oct. 22, 1894 in Marion county, the daughter of James W. and Barbara Lansford Garrett. She attended Eastern Illinois University in the early 1900's and taught school in this area for a few years. She was a member of the Christian Church in Kinmundy. On June 13, 1915 she married Wesley F. Robb, who preceded her in death on July 15, 1968.
Surviving is a son, Harold Robb of Tucson, Arizona; and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Hammer of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 5th at 10 a.m. at the Linton Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Hunt officiating. Those that served as pallbearers were: Jack Garrett, Bill Garrett, Junior Garrett, Donald Robb, Marlin Robb, and Tim Gammon. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
