Rainstown - Thomas Armstrong, aged 22 years, died at his home one mile west of here, Thursday morning the 22nd, of consumption. The funeral was at Montgomery Chapel Sunday morning. The services were conducted by Rev. Beebee. His wife, little child and other relatives have the sympathy of friends in their bereavement.

Thomas H. Armstrong died at his home, one mile east of Lizton, Dec. 22. He had been complaining for several months, but was confined to his house only about two weeks. He leaves a wife and a six months’ old baby, besides mother, brothers and sisters. Thomas was born Nov. 16, 1876; married Sept. 19, 1897. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. C.E. Beebee; burial in the cemetery, at the church.

Note: His wife, Emma Evaline (Elmore) Armstrong, later married Oliver Morton Foxworthy. Thomas and Emma's daughter Eulah (born June 16, 1898) married Hollis Clark on April 9, 1917 in Morgan County. She later married Dennis McCammack.
