Lizton - Mrs. Ella (Armstrong) Scott died March 20, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Freeland, in Ben Davis. She was seventy-six years of age, the wife of John Scott, who met tragic death while burning brush a year ago. Her funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon in the local Methodist church of which she was a member, by the Rev. U. G. Abbott of Indianapolis, a former pastor. Burial was in the K. of P. cemetery. Surviving children are Mrs. Flora Ellis of Danville; Asa Scott of Pittsboro; Mrs. Mary Freeland, Mrs. Rella Freeland, Aaron and Orville Scott, all of Indianapolis.
