The Oklahoman, Monday, Aug 15, 1966:
Blanche Abernathy, 4300 N. June Ave, died Sunday in Presbyterian Hospital. Services are pending with Smith & Kernke Funeral Home. Mrs Abernathy had been a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co, and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil A.; two brothers, Raymond Taylor, of Colony; and Joe B. Taylor, Whittier, CA; two sisters, Mrs Billie McLean, Kansas City, MO; and Mrs Ruth King, Denton, TX; and a nephew, Commander Charles Sherwood, Fort Ritchie, MD.
