William A. Parks, age 87 of Clermont, FL passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011. William was born in Dublin, VA, the son of the late Rebecca Ellen (Duncan) and Jonas Wesley Parks. He served two tours of duty, in the US Navy during World War II and also served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. After the war he was employed as a welder/machinist. After retiring, he moved to central Florida from Miami in 2004 and was a member of the VFW.

He is preceded in death by son, William Anthony Parks (1965) and his wife, Enriqueta Parks (1975).

William leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Wilhelmina Antoinette Rodriguez of Celebration, Linda Carol Ruiz of Miami; grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Parks, Delilah Linda and Ricardo Ezekiel Ruiz, Kasey Lee Dhanji, Rodney Henry and Venus Tara Rodriguez, Season Noel Rutecki, Tia Tennille Fueter; great-grandchildren, Tonita Queta, Nathaniel Anton and Carly Parks, Victor Ivan Jouve, Summer Lynne Alvarez, Megan Page and Justin Fate Rodney Ruiz, Elizabeth Kristen and Tristan Justice Rodriguez, Jordan Christopher and Milan Elena Rutecki; and a great-great-grandchild, Nayriella Jouve.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
