Albert A. Woltzen, 89, of Benson Dies at Wolcott, Indiana

Albert A. Woltzen, 89, retired Benson farmer, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday last week at the home of his daughter, Mrs William Moore at Wolcott, Ind. He suffered a stroke the preceding Sunday.

His funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at St Peter's Lutheran church west of Benson, the Rev J.H. Prange officiating. Burial was in the Benson cemetery.

Mr Woltzen was born Jan. 10, 1866 at Roanoke, son of Albert and Fanny [Fenna] Saathoff Woltzen. He married Laenia Elizabeth Oltman Feb. 9, 1888. She died Dec. 12, 1932.

Survivors include three sons, Albert of Long Point, Henry of Roanoke and John of Kankakee; three daughters, Mrs Bertha Yunge of Benson, Mrs Fanny Moore of Wolcott, Ind., and Mrs Jessie Evans of Bowling Green, Ind.; one brother, Elick of Benson; four sisters, Mrs Heimke Moritz, Mrs Rosena Hinrichs and Mrs Harm Tjaden, all of Benson, and Mrs Fanny Moritz of Graymont; 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter.
