Robert Hall Dies of Illness At Home Of Daughter

Robert Murphy Hall, 83, died at 3:30 a.m. today at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Laura Haak, 819 west Second street, with whom he made his home.

Born in Carroll county Ky., he came to Madison from Vevay, 39 years ago. He had been ill many months. He had been a member of the Vevay I.O.O.F. 59 years.

Survivors are: two sons, Chester and Robert Lee, of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Haak and Fred Scott, of this city, and Mrs. Jack Long, R.R. 2; a brother Clarence, Dayton, O.; two half-sisters; Mrs. Myrtle Bright and Mrs. Nellie Messmore of this city; two half-brothers; Harrison, Cincinnati, O., William of this city; and a large number of grandchildren. Three sons, a daughter, and his wife, Addie, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Lytle Mortuary, and burial will be in the Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 7:30 this evening.
