Mrs. Nellie M. Long, 71, Mayfield Nursing Home, died there at 11:55 a.m. yesterday.
She was a native of Vevay but had lived in Jefferson County most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Her husband, John, died in 1966.
Survivors include two sons: Charles, Madison, and John, Colorado Springs, Colo; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Turner and Mrs. Nellie Morgan, both of Madison; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Chester and Robert Hall, Madison; and a sister, Mrs. Laura Haak, Madison
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Gans Funeral Home, with burial in the Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
