Wesley - Funeral services for Mrs. J. B. Muehe, 68, who died Sunday following a long illness, will be held Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church with the Rev. L. N. Klein celebrant at the requiem mass.
Mrs. Muehe was born Annie Hildman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Hildman, Sept. 24, 1877 at West Brooklyn, Ill., and she came to Wesley in 1900 with her family, first living on a farm northeast of town.
Annie Hildman was a seamstress and operated a millinery store in the Hall bank building in Wesley for a number of years before her marriage to J. Barney Muehe, August 21, 1934, at St. Joseph church in Wesley.
Mr. and Mrs Muehe farmed near Wesley for a number of years then farmed near Irvington until the winter of 1944, when they retired and lived in Wesley.
She leaves 6 brothers; George, Ed, Matt and Anthony J. Hildman of Wesley; Charles of Redwood Falls, Minn., Joe Hildman of Clear Lake; also 4 sisters, Mrs Gertie Kirschbaum of Ayrshire; Mrs. Katie simon and Pauline Hildman of Campsbellport, Wis., and Mrs Clara Eisenbarth of Morgan, Minnesota. she also leaves 2 stepsons, John and Robert Muehe, and 3 stepdaughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dirksen of Albert Lea, Mrs. Agnes Lickteig of Wesley and Miss Ruth Muehe of Lompoc, California.
