Lafontaine – Katheryn C. Trusty, 81, died Friday, December 16, 2011, in Rolling Meadows Healthcare, Lafontaine.
She was born in Franklin County, Indiana on December 23, 1929 to the late William and Bessie Elsie (Johnson) Dice.
Katheryn previously worked as a meat cutter at Tom's Super Market in Rensselaer. She also was a bus driver for Mississinewa School Corporation for 22 years, where she dearly enjoyed the students of bus #3. She enjoyed gardening and loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Helen Jean (Anthony) Henry, Houston, TX, Robert Levi (Shirley) Trusty, Swayzee, Pam E. Brandle, Wabash, and David E. (Melissa) Trusty, Jonesboro; brother, Robert "Tony" (Kate) Dice, Marion; sisters, Peggy (Mark) Burke, Gas City and Doris Barnes, Richmond; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Dice; daughter, Barbara Anne Trusty, and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana.
Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana with Reverend Richard Runyon officiating.
Burial will be in LaFontaine Cemetery, LaFontaine, Indiana.
