Bernard (Ben) Hatke, 73, a farmer of Creasy Lane, east of the city, died at his residence Sunday afternoon after a short illness. Born in Ohio he had lived in the home in which he died for 42 years. He was married to Anna M. Zink in 1920. She died in 1936. He was a member of the St. Boniface church.
Surviving are four daughters and three sons; Mrs. Charles DeBoy, Mrs. Jack Evans, Mrs. Lawrence Roark, Mrs. Herman Sanders, Bernard and Isidore all of this city and Herbert of Harvey, IL and one brother George also of this city.
