Mrs. John Beutler
Calimed by Death
Mrs. John Beutler, 68,(sic) died shortly before 4 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. M. Hebron here. She had been ill for sometime.
She was the mother of Jake and Lynn Beutler.

Funeral services for Mrs. John Beutler, 69 years old, who died here Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. M. Hebren, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church with Rev. J. Albert Steele pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetey.
Mrs. Beutler had been in ill heath for about a month but her condition became critical only recently.
She was born March 15, 1868 at Huntington, Indiana and when a young girl moved to Kansas with her parents. She was married February 23, 1888 at Kingman, Kansas to J. T. Beutler.
They established their first home in Harvey county, Kansas where they lived until the opening of the Cheyenne-Arapaho country to settlement in 1892 where they made the run and took a homestead at Okarche.
They moved to the Elk City community in 1903.
Mrs. Beutler is survived by her husband and nine children, five daughters and four sons. Daughters are Mrs. Ollie White, Wichita Falls, Tex., Mrs. Bessie Lee, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Birdie Hebron, Elk City; Mrs. Eva Hope, Milwaukee, Wis.; and Mrs. Oma Bishop, Weatherford. Sons are Elra Beutler, Denzil Beutler, Jake Beutler and Lynn Beutler, all of Elk City. One son preceded her in death.
Two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Davies of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Louis Frederick of El Reno; a brother, Alva Bruch, of Kingman, kans.,(sic) and 14 grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Beutler, the daughter of a United Bretheren minister, was a member of the Presbyterian church for many years.
