DEATH TUESDAY OF
WILLIAM F. STILL

Succumbs Tuesday At Veterans Hos-
pital At Wadsworth, Kas.
Services Saturday.

William F. Still, 47 years old, well-
known Marceline, township farmer,
prominent in American Legion activities
and a substitute rural mail carrier,
died Tuesday at the U.S. Veterans'
hospital at Wadsworth. Kas.
Mr. Still had been in failing health
about a year. Several months ago, he
was taken to the U.S. Veterans' hos-
pital in Excelsior Springs and later
was transferred to the hospital at
Wadsworth.
The body is at the home one and
one-half miles east of Marceline.
Funeral services, under auspices of the
I. 0. 0. F. lodge, will be at 1:30 o'clock
Saturday afternoon at the Baptist
church. The sermon will be by A. C.
Jones of Linneus, grand master of I. 0.
0. F. lodges in Missouri. Burial will
be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
The obituary had not been completed
in time for publication this week. It
will be published next week.
