Eleood H. Krapf, 81, of 100 Front St., Orwigsburg, died Saturday in Rest Haven, the Schuylkill County Home for the Aged, Schuylkill Haven. He was the husbnad of Lydia May (Williams) Krapf.

Prior to retiring in 1978, he was a foreman at the former Alcoa Plant, Cressona, for 37 years.

Born in Tamaqua , he was a son of the late Andrew L. and Catherine (scheidegger) Krapf

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church , Tamaqua.

A member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club, Krapf also belonged to the Retired Association of Alcoa, Local 405, Pottsville.

Surviving in addition to his widow are five sisters, Naomi Barren of Missoula, Mont., Catherine Dudeck of Reading, Fern Tonkin of Coaldale, and Jean Evans and Claire Hollenbach both of Tamaqua; and four brothers Albert of La Verne, Calif., Paul of Allentown, George of Baltimore Md., and Donald of Tamaqua.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The Lohn H. Lundbye Funeral Home, 116 S. Liberty St., Orwigsburg, is in charge of the arrangements.
