Estella Christina Strohecker, the daughter of Samuel Strohecker and Annie (Troutman) Strohecker, was born in May 1870 in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. She was known by family and friends as "Stella."

Stella married Thomas Edward Enterline in 1891. T.E. Enterline founded the general merchandise store in Lavelle, Schuylkill County. They resided in Lavelle together until his untimely death in 1928.

Stella, who took over ownership and operation of the store from her husband, then continued to reside in Lavelle with her son, Bright Samuel ("Pat") Enterline. Together, they continued to operate the store founded by T.E. Enterline.

Stella's sister, Minnie Rebecca Strohecker, married John Hartranft Snyder, one of the co-founders of the Lavelle Telephone and Telegraph Company. They also resided in Lavelle. Minnie's children referred to Stella as "Auntie" and to Stella's son, Bright Samuel Enterline, as "Pat."

Stella suffered terribly from cancer late in her life, and was cared for by Pat, known in town for being a good and gentle soul. Stella passed away on 8 September 1956. Pat passed away not long after (in 1964).

Stella is buried with her husband, Thomas, and their sons Bright Samuel ("Pat") Enterline and George S. Enterline in Citizens Cemetery in Lavelle. George died in infancy in 1895. Their graves are located just above those of Stella's sister, Minnie, Minnie's husband, John H. Snyder, and their son, Timothy P. Snyder. All seven graves are bordered by a low brick wall, which sets the graves off from other graves in this section of the cemetery.
