ROCKPORT, Ind. — Leonard L. "Bill" Alvey, 59, of Rockport died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at his home. Bill retired from the Army after serving in Vietnam, Gulf War and Iraq. Survivors include his siblings, Joe Alvey, Leo Alvey, Ida Smith, Elizabeth Freeman and Wyman Alvey Sr. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home, Rockport, where Rockport American Legion Post 254 will conduct military honors. Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions: American Cancer Society.
