LIME SPRINGS - Services for Mrs. Amey E. (nee Warfield) Phillips, 88, who died Sunday in a Cresco Nursing Home, will be on Wednesday in the Lime Springs Methodist Church; burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
A daughter of the late Henry W. Warfield, Sr. and Margaret A. (nee Imel) Warfield, Mrs. Phillips was born in Carroll County, Illinois and married Charles William "Charley" Phillips on February 25, 1901 at Lime Springs, Iowa.
She is survived by two sons: Arthur of Waterloo and Lester of Lime Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Hyke; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Diettrick of Clinton; and a brother, Albert Warfield of Prophetstown, Illinois.
