  PLEASANT GROVE – Lydia Allen Hilton, 87, died January 20, 1985 in American Fork.
  Born March 12, 1897 in Lakeview, Utah County, to John K. and Lydia Jane Taylor Allen. Married Abel J. Ekins, July 25, 1918 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died November 5, 1918. She married Samuel W. Hilton, January 5, 1926. She was educated in Vineyard and Pleasant Grove schools. She was an active member of the LDS Church, Pleasant Grove 7th Ward. Served a mission to California, Temple Worker, Salt Lake Temple. President of the ward Relief Society. Served a two year stake mission. Had been president of the Mother's Study Club, President of Lion's Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
  Survived by husband, Pleasant Grove, five sons, daughter, Abel J. Ekins, Lehi; J. Don Hilton, Las Vegas, Nevada; Frances Hanes, Roanoke, Virginia; A. Eugene Hilton, Sandy; Robert J. Hilton, Pleasant Grove; Floyd "Jim" Hilton, American Fork; 28 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Allen, St. George; Leo Allen, Provo; Elwood Allen, Pleasant Grove; a son, Sam W. Hilton II, preceded her in death.
  Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Pleasant Grove 7th Ward Chapel, 1200 East 200 South. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday at the Church one hour prior. Burial: Provo City Cemetery.
