WILLIAM WALTER LLOYD
William was the son of Benijah and Arrelda Willits Lloyd. His siblings included; Arthur Lloyd (b. 1849, d. bef 1860); Omer H. Lloyd (b. abt 1851); Ella Lloyd (b. abt 1852); Nettie Lloyd (b. abt 1855); Charles M. Lloyd (b. abt 1861); George W. Lloyd (b. abt. 1865); Maurice E. Lloyd (b. abt 1867); Ida Lloyd (b. abt 1869); and Thomas Lloyd (d. 9/13/1880).

William married Georgie E. Swezy, daughter of Mary Jane (Atkinson) and Jerome Austin Swezy on 7/28/1889 in Mercer County. After their marriage they lived in Freeport, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. To this union were born two sons; Omar Huber and Oakley B. Lloyd.

As a boy in Keithsburg "Willie" worked as a clerk in a drug store. After his marriage he worked for the railraod in Freeport, Illinois and Wisconsin. He also worked as a carpenter for the railraod and later as a Harvester Machinist.

William died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1964 at the age of 72. He is buried in the Greenmound Cemtery along with his wife and son Omar.
