OAKELY B. LLOYD
Oakley was the son of William Walter and Georgia Esther (Swezy) Lloyd. His parents were born in Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois. After their marriage in 1889 they moved to Freeport, Illinois so Oakley could have been born in either Keithsburg or Freeport. They later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but both are buried in the Greenmound Cemetery in Keithsburg, Illinois with Oakley's only brother Omar.

On May 2, 1913 Oakley married Kathryn Elizabeth Forsyth, daughter of Charles Fredrick and Anna (Wirth) Forsyth. To this union was born one daughter, Patricia and one son, Oakley Benijah Lloyd. His son died Feb 20, 1990 in Morehead, NC.

Oakley grew up in Freeport, Illinois. After his marriage He lived in Chicago briefly before moving to Oklahoma where he spent the remainder of his life. His occupation in census records is listed as An Assistant Sales Manager for an Oil Company.
