Mabel B. Cresswell, 96, of Piper City, IL., died at 1:25 P. M., Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Piper City Rehab & Living Center, Piper City. Her graveside service and burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Brenton Cemetery, Piper City with Rev. Elizabeth Reis and Rev. Jim Harkins officiating. Mable was born on October 31, 1914 in Thawville, IL., to Albert & Anna (Neding) Wagner. Mabel married Harold Cresswell on December 17, 1937 in Thawville. He died on November 15, 1982. Survivors include two sons - Marvin (Jeanie) Cresswell of Marion, IL., and Harold "Mike" (Dorothy) Cresswell of Watseka, IL. Five Grandchildren. Seven Great-Grandchildren. One Great-Great-Grandchild. Mabel is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson - Mike and one great-granddaughter - Shelby.
