Harold Cresswell, 69, of Piper City, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1982, at Mercy Hospital in Urbana. He had been under a doctor's care.
Funeral services were at 1:30 pm, Thursday at the United Methodist church in Piper City, Rev. Wesley Wallace officiated. Burial was in Brenton cemetery, Piper City.
He was born April 5, 1913, in Fairbury, a son of Walter and Lena Tammen Cresswell. He married Mabel Wagner, Dec 17, 1937 in Thawville. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Marvin, Gillette, Wyo.; Harold "Mike," Watseka; and five grandchildren.
A sister, a brother and a grandson preceded him in death.
