S1c Paul Anthony Evans was born on 22 August 1919 at Fillmore, Montgomery County, Illinois. He was the son of Morgan Evans, Sr and Lydia Louise 'Lulu' Understahl Evans. He died on 07 December 1941 at the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii aboard the U.S.S. Arizona.
