OBITUARY FROM THE BAYTOWN SUN: MRS. LORENA JOHNSON
Services for Mrs. Lorena May (Mrs. King) Johnson, 57, 116 Edith, Highlands, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Gene Walker of Second Baptist Church, Highlands, officiating. Mrs. Johnson, a native of Dayton, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel C. Best, of 4056 Steele, Highlands.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Best, Mrs. LaMarr Ritchie; her mother, Mrs. Alva Robinson; three brothers, Theron and Raymond Robinson, all of Dayton, and O. L. Robinson of Northshore; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Caldwell of Liberty, Mrs. Marie Vavrusa of Hallettsville, and Mrs. Annie Brooks of Baytown; four grandchildren also survive.
Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery of Baytown. Pallbearers were C. D. Maddox, C. F. Tillman, Elmer Pruett, Norris Ritchie, Boyd Martin, and John Best. Funeral arrangements were under direction of Paul U. Lee Funeral Home.
