OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR: OMA LEE ROBINSON
DAYTON -- Services for Oma Lee Robinson, 72, of Dayton, were held July 24 at the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wilburn Snyder officiating. Burial was at Magnolia Park Cemetery under direction of Sterling Funeral Home of Dayton. He died July 22 in Dayton. Robinson was born in Old River, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of Dayton. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the South Dayton Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Robinson of Dayton; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Harvey and Linda Robinson of Dayton, Don Woosley of Dayton, James and Barbara Woosley of Houston, Jackie and Verna Woosley of Houston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Butch Martin of Houston, Karen and Kenny Edwards of Dayton, Willene and Daniel LaBuff of Dayton; a daughter-in-law, Marsha Woosley of Houston; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Doug Caldwell of Liberty and Marie Vavrusa of Hallettsville; two sisters-in-law, Johnnie Robinson and Emma Lou Trout, both of Dayton; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Elmer Pruitt, Glenn Prater, Jack Smith, Don Smith, Bill Johnson, and R. R. Treude. Honorary pallbearer was Lane Spraker.

Oma Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Alva Stubbs Robinson; his brothers, Theron Robinson and Raymond "Bill" Robinson; his sisters, Annie Robinson Brooks and Lorena Robinson Johnson; and a stepson, Bobby Woosley.
